It's easier to hide

It's easier to run when you get scared

It's easier to pretend like nothing bothers you then to face the fear
It's easier to not allow your heart to be open then to share it with the risk of being hurt and left broken

It's easier to not dream the dreams envisioned for years

If you don't let your heart go there

you won't have to pretend to hold back the tears

If I lie to myself and pretend I don't care

Keep myself busy and preoccupied then no one

will take notice and I can hide

It's easier to be independent then to let someone in

It's easier saying it's easier then believing again

You say it's easier but truth be told you are scared

Afraid to open your heart

To trust some one who in the end might actually care

To believe in this promise and watch it from the start

Begin with a word and end with a scar

Only years down the road to realize how tired you really are

Blindsighted from the truth and preoccupied

is really a diversion to try to hide

You are worth so much more,

but you've been hurt and left torn

Don't stop believing in the dreams God's given

For Every good and perfect gift comes from the Father in Heaven

Don't be afraid to let love in

love is not your

brokenness

sin is

The enemy did not steal your dream

for Satan can not kill anything you've not given him permission to steal

You hold the power of life and death

It's what you choose to represent

Your words are powerful and they will bring light

But it is up to you what you hold tight

God's promises are yes and amen

A broken heart with Jesus will always mend

Don't turn a blind eye to faithful men

God's gift to you will be more then you can comprehend
