The Key

Several years ago I was sitting at a youth conference facing many regrets. I was in a relationship that God told me not to enter, and now I was in a place where I had to end it. Many will not understand this decision I was about to make. I knew that no matter what if God said this man was not the man that He has for me, then no matter how hard it was, I had to end it. It was not an easy step, but almost ten years later I am so glad that God gave me the strength to be obedient in this area. You see it's not about a man. It's not about being fulfilled by the desires and dreams of your heart, it's about being obedient to the one who formed and shaped the one and only key to your heart. He is the ultimate lover and He is the ultimate dream giver, and He will give you the desires of your heart, but in His perfect timing. You see we so often get impatient and we chase empty relationships. We settle for someone that God did not give the key to. Ladies, the key giver will give the man your key. He has shaped the key to fit one lock and that lock won't fit any other key except the one He gives it to. You see we don't have to be impatient about being single, or about not getting the man we want. If we remain in the presence of the King (the Key giver) then nothing will shake us, because we will be so soaked in His presence that we can't see anything else. Ladies, let's be like Mary and sit at the feet of Jesus and listen to His every word. 
Luke 10:38-39 ( MSG) As they continued their travel, Jesus entered a village. A woman by the name of Martha welcomed him and made him feel quite at home. She had a sister, Mary, who sat before the Master, hanging on every word he said.

She sat there hanging on to His every word. She was not distracted or worried about what was going on around her, all she focused on was her Master. If we focus more on Jesus then eventually just like God promises, He will grant us the desires of our hearts. Psalm 37:4 (AMP) Delight yourself in the Lord,
And He will give you the desires and petitions of your heart.

Don't you think if God can create and form you in the secret of your Mother's womb (Psalm139:13), then don't you think that He has formed the right key to go to your heart? That key is precious so don't be foolish and cheapen what God has entrusted to you. For only He has the key. It's time to give Him back the key to your heart and Trust Him.
