Daniel 3:16-18 No Idols

Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego were told if they did not bow down to the golden image, then they would be thrown into the furnace, but look at their response to Nebuchadnezzar. Daniel 3:17. If so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the furnace of blazing fire; and He will deliver us out of your hand, O king.
Their faith is outstanding. They knew what would happen if they did not worship the king's god, but that pressure did not determine their outcome. Instead their love for God and their faith in Him is what they stood upon. They didn't care what the king or anyone else thought, they knew God would deliver them. We worship others gods everyday whether we realize it or not. Whether it's fear, lust, work, unhealthy relationships, tv, video games, our cell phones, and sometimes our own ministry..ect. Why can't we just have the faith like these 3 men? They refused to let anything come between them and their God. How do we get to such a point where we don't let other things come between us and God, and we to where we just stand on our solid rock; Jesus Christ and His word, because when we do He will deliver us out of the enemies hand.
