Surpassed Human comprehension

John the Baptist had a revelation that human flesh cannot understand. In John 3 John the baptist was being mistaken as Christ because he was also spending time baptizing people.
John answers the men in 3:27 John answered and said, "A man can receive nothing unless it has been given from heaven.

He knew the miracles taking place could only be received from God. He knew he was not the cause or power of the miraculous. John knew it was God who called him and sent him out to do the work of God. John knew it was not about him. He knew he was given the words of God to speak. 3:34 " For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God for He gives the Spirit without measure. John knew what later Paul would confirm (Galatians6:3, 1Corinthians 3:18).

When we begin to think we are wise in ourself, then we blind ourselves into deception to thinking we are more then we are. We give ourselves credit instead of the work of the Holy Spirit.
Pride is a slippery dangerous slope! We can do nothing apart from God; for He is the one who leads us. He is the one who trains and equips us. He is the one who gives us strength. He is the one who gives us breath. His presence and influence in our lives must increase if we want to see revival. Our pride, dreams, and selfish ambitions must decrease.

Humility is the key to unlocking the door to all God has for you. Humility is what surrender is all about. Releasing all you know and trusting in all He is. God will not compete with idols and He certainly will not compete when He alone deserves all the praise.

Take a look back at the story of Lucifier. Most beautiful angel, but he got prideful and jealous. What happened?
He was cast out of heaven and into hell. There is only one God. One true, holy, and loving God. If we want to see a move of the Holy Spirit like we've never seen; we have to move out of the way.
