Just One Kiss

 I surrendered my dreams and my heart for the cause. During one summer the Lord prompted me to surrender my heart, and with this commit to refraining from saying I Love You to just any man. The next time I say I love you it will be when he has said it first. After he's asked to spend the rest of his life with me will he hear too. The words "I love you" are cheapened by today's society. Mostly they are used to manipulate, or they are used because it's the thing to say. They do not have much meaning left, because most do not know what love really is, or looks like. I long to see a man show the words before he ever says them. The next kiss I give will be to my groom at the altar. Just One kiss! For years I have kept this close to my heart, and it hasn't always been easy.  I have fallen only to learn the One kiss to satisfy flesh; meant nothing and to be transparent with you it only brought forth pain and an even bigger mistake. I have a much better understanding as to what God was trying to say then, but I took the hard road and I walked through the fire because of it. I left my job, and everything that was a reminder of my shame. I sat there with a test that I never thought I would have to take alone. At the same time there is always grace and forgiveness, but if you can do it right then don't awaken love until marriage. If you need to set high boundaries to make sure of that, then set them high. Many will think you are crazy, too Religious, and paranoid. There will be people who will understand and respect your wishes. During that time in my life the enemy came often to my thoughts with the words " oh..it's just one Kiss". As I fought the meaning behind these words, this is what I felt the Holy Spirit reveal to me about my "Just ONE Kiss".

Just one kiss is all it took for Judas to betray me. Just one kiss will open doors that were never meant to be opened. Just one kiss could change my story in History. Just one kiss, and Satan can steal it all. BUT... Just one KISS is the begining of a God written future, just one kiss is true love. Just one kiss for just one earthly man says it all. Holding on to that Just one Kiss will save all. just one kiss will change nations. Just one Kiss will rule the schools. Just one Kiss is all it takes to hear my voice...Just one KISS is Mine.

As I dwelled on this phrase "Just One Kiss", I realized there was something so much more to these words. Sure enough here it is!

The greatest example of the intimacy and love in that kiss on your wedding day; is the cross. Everything the cross represents. Everything Jesus did that is Just One Kiss!

The cross, dying for our sins, and freedom and Grace is the the first and ultimate example of what this "Just One Kiss" really means. It starts with a message of purity, but yet goes so much deeper to reach the greatest depths of the Father's love.
