Purity Under Fire
We live in a society that teaches young girls at an early age how to pleasure their bodies. We live in a society that tells girls to give up their bodies because it is the thing to do. We live in a society where the less clothing you have on the more sexy (which means beautiful) you are. The big one..If you are bad and sneak around the more fun.. What a bunch of LIES from Hell!
Sex is a beautiful thing within the covenant of marriage! Outside of marriage it only brings heart ache, shame, guilt, depression, pregnancy, and possible sickness. Everyone teaches the pleasure of sex, but not many speak of the consequences. Many girls give it up because they believe they are in love, only for their so called "love of her life" to have another love the next week. Now we live in the camera phone days where girls are encouraged to share "Photos" to guys they like. We live in a society where young men are taught to use protection and not get the girl knocked up, instead of using the protection to make sure her heart is guarded.
Our young people and many adults have the smeared image of this subject. There is a reason the Bible says not to awaken love until it is time. Once that is awakened it is extremely hard to put back to sleep. It can become an even bigger struggle especially if you are a Christian and don't ever want to make that mistake again. The spirit of lust is real, and it is hard to defeat at times.
I believe God is saying enough is enough! It is time for his son's and Daughter's to arise and awaken to His love.
Let his love fulfill you and satisfy your every need. You can overcome this battle because he already defeated this demon. Attach yourself to the word and allow God to direct you. If you are asking yourself "How far is too far?" then in my opinion you have already gone too far. If you are ashamed of anyone seeing what you're doing then the line has been crossed.
Girls: there are many boys who will try to get you to slip, to send them a picture "oh it's just one", show them your body, or get you to say something that causes your mind to wander. I am sorry but these boys do not have your heart in mind, they are using you. You are worth so much more. Most people will say this is only a "guy thing" but really who wants a guy that is always trying to trip you up? You deserve a man, a mighty man of valor. A warrior who will fight for your heart. A man who will guard his words and mind only to guard your heart and purity. You deserve a man who is a gentleman. A man who will call you his jewel, the greatest gift God has ever trusted him with. So much more then what this world says you should have. You do not have to dress provocatively to be beautiful. You do not have to pleasure yourself to feel good about yourself. You do not have to give it up to just any guy to feel loved. You don't have to allow yourself to be treated like you have no worth, because you have All the worth in the world. You are a daughter of the King most high. You are the Head and not the tail, above only and not beneath. You are a royal heir to the kingdom. As you speak the truth and focus on what God says about you, then you will soon see yourself become that Beauty you can't see now. God has mighty plans for you, and truth is he probably has a special man out there for you, so if you hang tight and believe his promise for a godly mighty man of valor then one day you will meet him. I always say your heart is like a rose and every time you give a part of your heart away (and yes! When you give your body away it is a part of your heart.) you loose a petal. On your wedding day what kind of rose do you want to hand your groom? A stick with a few petals? Or a beautiful restored blossomed red rose?
